What is LeVar Burton Kids?
In an effort to further his commitment to kids and education, LeVar is expanding his content offering and areas of focus through a new venture, LeVar Burton Kids. This new endeavor will be aimed at promoting critical thinking and inspiring kids curiosity through subjects close to his heart like: STEM, diversity, equality, and social-emotional topics.
"While driving literacy and motivating kids to read will always be part of my mission, I want to do more to help prepare them for the world. I want to give kids more opportunities to learn about and connect with the world around them. I believe that it is through knowledge and understanding that our children will become smarter, more compassionate world citizens—ultimately leading to more unity and peace." - LeVar
This means that as of August 1st, 2017 RRKidz, the company cofounded by LeVar Burton and Mark Wolfe, will no longer license the Reading Rainbow brand from WNED-Buffalo, the owners and rights holders. You can find them at readingrainbow.com.
Is LeVar Burton Kids a non-profit or 501(c)(3)?

How do I reach LeVar Burton?
The best way is to reach him is through his Twitter account, @LeVarBurton.
Can I get an autograph of LeVar Burton?
As you can imagine, LeVar gets a lot of fan mail and requests. It’s very hard for him to send autographed pictures to everyone who asks. He decided long ago not to use services that send “autographs” of stars when really it’s a machine that creates them. He really loves his fans and makes many personal appearances throughout the world all year long where you can meet him, take a selfie, and get a real autograph.
I have a book or an idea for one. Can I send it to you?
Due to the overwhelming number of requests we have received, we are not currently accepting unsolicited manuscripts.
What about your Kickstarter?
In the three years since the launch of this campaign, we’ve done our best to send all 105,000 backers the rewards they were promised. If you filled out your BackerKit or sent us an email, you should’ve received your items. Please note that we do not have any more physical rewards -- all of the t-shirts, tote bags, mugs, etc that were left over in May of this year were donated to underserved families. We’re happy to send you the subscription of your choice (Skybrary for the home or school) in lieu of a physical product. We’re also happy to donate your subscription to someone who needs it. If you have any questions about your Kickstarter pledge or unfulfilled rewards, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
